Ichiruki vs Ichihime : Black Sun & White Moon vs White Sun & Black Moon

SOULS:
The rain drags black sun down,
VIBES:
But the rain dried by white moon.

I honestly think that KT have made it clear from those illustrations that Ichigo is the "Black Sun" and Rukia is definitely the "White Moon" Therefore,I found it truly surprising  how the "White Sun" and "Black Moon" suddenly exist,so I came to see what made some people think that way.

...and here's what I found out...

click this ---> "Why Ichigo is the "Black Moon" and Orihime is the "White Sun"

Why Ichigo is the "Black Moon"

Despite the two Zodiac charts (tropical and sidereal), showing that Ichigo is both a Cancer and a Gemini, Kubo lists Ichigo as a Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the Moon:

Like being said,Cancer (Ichigo) is RULED by the "Moon".The Moon is not Ichigo's symbol,it was  the entity that rules his symbol (Cancer). In Zodiac,Cancer is Ichigo's sign (symbol),not the Moon.

and...

A planet’s ruler shows what forces drive it along its evolutionary path;

Ironically...

Ichigo = Cancer
Rukia = Capricorn
Orihime = Virgo

link : http://www.horusset.com/RIKB/bsastro.htm

The association between Saturn and the Black Sun as an alchemical and occult symbol is traditional. In alchemy, the Black Sun represents the nigredo stage of the alchemical operation, the stage of calcination or blackening of the first matter by burning.

Finally, another of the epithets of Saturn in ancient astrology is "Great Lord Dark Sun" and "Son of the Sun." In these symbols, the Black Sun is conflated with Saturn himself.

link : http://www.enkiea.org/astrology/saturn.html

In alchemy he is the black sun , which many people misinterpret as black hole or another Sun in the solar system it was a metaphor for Saturn among alchemists.

Saturn is Capricorn's (Rukia) ruling planet.

Do you see the correlation between the two now?If you haven't noticed,KT  made a not so obvious hints there.

Cancer ( Ichigo) is ruled by the Moon
Capricorn (Rukia) is ruled by Saturn that was associated with the Black Sun

which means...

Cancer (Ichigo) is ruled by the Moon.Whoever it was that was associated with the Moon is the one that drives Ichigo in his evolutionary path.On the other hand,Capricorn (Rukia) is ruled by Saturn, which means that whoever it was that associates with Saturn (the Black Sun) is the one that drives her in her evolutionary path.

also...

Capricorn is Cancer's opposite sign in the zodiac, 180 degrees away.

also, did you know that even in GEOGRAPHY...

link : http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/imagee.htm

link : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemisphere

as you can see...

Just like how the Sun and the Moon,Day and Night,Man and Woman,North and South....Cancer and Capricorn does have the same relationship with each other. They are the opposite, the equal, and the other half of each other.

...let's now move on to this part...

The cover of volume 19 is Ichigo, and is titled “Black Moon Rising”. Chapter 162, where we first see Ichigo using his bankai, is also titled “Black Moon Rising” (it’s also the only chapter in “Bleach” history to be a completely colored chapter.)

-------
Look at Ichigo's powers, it's all about the moon:

Zangetsu (斬月)- cutting moon
Getsuga Tenshō (月牙天衝) - heaven-slicing lunar fang
Tensa Zangetsu (天鎖斬月) - heavenly chain cutting the moon

"月" is the kanji for "moon".

Like being said,it was Ichigo's powers,it is not Ichigo.Though (Tensa) Zangtsu is a part of Ichigo,it doesn't mean that he is (Tensa) Zangetsu as well.(Tensa) Zangetsu is Ichigo's power,he is definitely not Ichigo.

With the defeating of Aizen, Ichigo's powers are fading away, thus the black moon crumbling:

Hmm,allow me make things a lot easier for everyone...

Ichigo uses his Final attack "Mugetsu",which means "Moonless Nights",in order to defeat Aizen. After defeating AIZEN,Ichigo loses his shinigami powers, which is Zangetsu.

Zangetsu = Black Moon (from those sketches)
Mugetsu ( Moonless Nights ) = Black Moon crumbling
Ichigo + Mugetsu = Ichigo - Zangetsu
Ichigo - Zangetsu = Ichigo - "Black Moon" = Ichigo still the "BLACK MOON?"

Besides,in case people are forgetting,Hollow Ichigo is also a part of Zangetsu, and he is white, isn't he?Hollow Ichigo is the WHITE Zangetsu,so...

...also...

SWASTIKA 1: Ancient occult symbol of the sun and the four directions. Revived by Hitler, it represents racism and the "white supremacy" of neo-nazis. Like other occult symbols, it is often placed inside a "circle".

link : http://www.radioliberty.com/Symbolsandtheirmeaning.html

Ichigo's power is not ALL about the Moon.

...also...

As you can see form those pages,Isshin's attack had the same name as Ichigo's "Getsuga Tensho",and his Zanpakuto's name is Engetsu (剡月, Scathing Moon)...could it be that Isshin was Orihime's Black Moon ^.^V

Why Orihime is the "White Sun"

Ch. 236 "The SUN Has Already Gone Down", quote fromUlquiorra:

The encircled dialogue is what Ulquiora meant when he said that "The sun already set in our hands".He is not talking about Orihime.

SUN

The sun is an emblem of glory and brilliance. It is also a symbol of authority. It represents happiness, life and spirituality. The rising sun is a symbol of hope. The sun, when not rising, is always blazoned the “sun in splendour.”

In BLEACH case from the chapter "The Sun Already Gone Down",when Ulquiora said that "the sun already set in our hands",it means that he is already claiming their victory.Ulquiora's words says it clearly,"You no longer have a chance" (Chance = HOPE).He was saying that the Sun was already set in their hands, therefore,it means that there is no tomorrow/future waiting for Ichigo and the Shinigami's.All tomorrows will be in their favor.

Before someone brings me that it might be because they have Orihime on their side, let me remind you that Orihime being on their side didn't gave them any assurance of winning the battle.First, they never used Orihime's powers during the war.Secondly,Ulquiora used to see them (Ichigo and the Shinigamis) as TRASH to think that they will need Orihime in order to win the war.

Ulquiora was undermining their enemy's abilities,he couldn't even see them being able to infiltrate their place,as you can see from the page above. Therefore, saying that Ulquiora was talking about Orihime's kidnap (she was finally on their side),won't fit for this argument.

I'll try to make things more simple again...

The sun has already set in our hands = There is no tomorrow/future waiting for Ichigo and Co.
The "Sun" setting in the enemy's hands = HOPE/victory is set in the enemy's side
Sun = HOPE not Orihime

Ch. 283, Orihime emitting rays like the sun:

Orihime emitting rays like the sun?(laughs),I'm so sorry,I don't mean being rude,but...seriously?Are this people haven't used to reading mangas?

Woah, there are so many characters that emits rays like the sun, don't you think? ^.^'

anyways...

It is also used to indicate where is that voice coming from,or where did a certain character came from,as well as indicating that something or someone is approaching...

just like here...

the lines from that panel indicates that the hollow was approaching Ichigo.

The direction of the lines shows where Ginjou came from

The lines from that panel indicates that the nakamas are running away from Aizen

just like...

Those lines from that panel indicates the direction of the voice (where it came from). It was definitely not Orihime emitting rays like the sun.I will never use the anime as a proof, since they tend to CHANGE some particular scenes, and they aren't Kubo either for them to know exactly what he really meant there,so...

trying to make things more simple again...

Lines around Orihime = showing the direction of where the voice came from.
Orihime emitting rays like the sun = non existent

Ch. 313, quote from Aizen:

If you haven't noticed,Aizen is referring to a DARKENED SUN in his statement. As far as I know,DARK never had the same meaning as WHITE in any aspect, neh?Aizen was referring to Orihime's lacking of HOPE,which will bring sadness.

Although, let's say that Orihime was indeed the Sun here, where is the indication that she was the "White Sun"?Also,Aizen's statement about the so called Orihime as the Sun,never correlates with anything about Ichigo being the Black Moon.

for example...

KT could have made Aizen say something along the lines of...

"You should smile, for a DARKENED SUN will only bring sadness (insert) to the Moon."

There are also scientific reports stating that the sun is white:

I don't think the Sun's actual color has something to do with KT's symbolism.I am going to discuss about it at the latter part of his essay.

also...

link : http://www.universetoday.com/18046/pictures-of-the-sun/

link : http://planetfacts.org/what-color-is-the-sun/

The Sun has many colours and because of the intensity of those colours our eyes can’t take them all on that is why it appears white. But because it has strong lines of yellow it gives that slight yellowish tint. So it is safe to say that

the Sun is white with a yellowish tint.

click this ---> Ichigo x Orihime x Rukia's connection

If you read the essay from that link, you can easily figure out that the author was so adamant to try connecting Orihime with those poems from SOUL's and VIBE's (despite the fact that he/she thinks that it was not romantic),and surmising that the reason why only Ichigo and Rukia are in the covers is because they are the male/female leads at the time.

After agreeing that Rukia is definitely the "White Moon" that dries the rain...

I wish I could say this was fact, but unfortunately it's mere speculation: I think Rukia dried up the rain that was plagueing his life at that time. I've wondered (and *I* think it's true, at least^^) if the rain came back the day Orihime was captured and Ichigo found out about it? I can't really confirm it or anything, but Zangetsu did say that whenever Ichigo was sad, it rained (in his inner world). It's quite clear that Ichigo was heavily distressed after Orihime's capture.

though...

Zangetsu said that the rain had stopped, meaning it wasn't raining there.Everything is just drowning at the bottom of the ocean inside his inner world...

and it is because of this...

and what is the source of his despair?

Aside from this,it never rained when Orihime was captured, and it never rained even after Ichigo finds out about her abduction...

unlike here...

It rained when Masaki died...

It rained when Rukia was arrested and was going to be executed in SS.

And lastly,it rained when EVERYONE was against Ichigo,he thought that he was going to lose his bonds with them.

Interesting, isn't it?Only Orihime's capture doesn't have a rain. This only shows that KT is not highlighting Orihime's capture that much.I wasn't trying to undermine Orihime's importance to Ichigo, but you have to realize that Rukia's importance/relationship/bond with Ichigo will definitely have more emphasis in the story since they are the Hero/Heroine of BLEACH.Orihime's importance always come along with the NAKAMAS.

In any case, the assumptions about the rain coming back is brought up,because of this....

SOULS:
(ten o tozasu taiyou)
The sun that locks Heaven.
VIBES:
(yoru o hazuru tsuki)
The moon that eclipses the night.

So in a way, Ichigo and Rukia are connected in their "moon" attacks, and Ichigo and Orihime are connected in that Ichigo ALSO has a "heaven" related attack, and Orihime's powers are all associated with Heaven...3 times...just like Rukia and Ichigo have 3 attacks... XD

So whooh! Once again, it's all OriIchiRuki FTW. **is shot**

Ichigo's Zanpakuto has only one attack as far as I know (minus Mugetsu),and it is "Getsuga Tensho",right?O.o...or you can count it as two including the Black Getsuga, though it only changed it's color since the Black Getsuga was originally his hollow's technique.Other than that,Zangetsu and Tensa Zangetsu's names are associated with the Moon, there is no three attacks from Ichigo's sword.Rukia's on the other hand had only one named after the Moon, which is the first dance.

in any case...

At first,I thought....what's with the attack's names?I really couldn't comprehend the purpose of that part,until...

In regard to the poems themselves, and how they connect to Orihime, Ichigo supposedly "locks Heaven" (which is odd because Urahara says that Ichigo gave Orihime and Chad the KEYS to open their powers...so is this saying that Ichigo is still holding back something from Orihime without knowing?) And Rukia's poem can also be re-worded as "The moon erases the night" (becuz that's the literal translation...). The "night" reminds me of HM, so it makes sense that Rukia wants to eclipse/erase the night for Orihime. She basically screamed as much right before she "died" anyway. ^_^

I don't know if it's just me,or was it because of the word "heaven" in the poem? The word "heaven" might be symbolizing Orihime?Because Orihime's powers are connected to "heaven"?Ichigo's poem might be
about him holding back something from Orihime?Rukia wants to erase the night for Orihime? To be honest,it sounds to me that Orihime might be the protagonist of BLEACH ^.^'>,because it seems like she was the center of everything there.

Let's see...

BLEACH Romance : Ichigo's Hollowfication at the Dome

Among all the scenes from BLEACH manga,I think Ichigo's hollowfication is the most complicated scene to interpret/analyze.Not only that most of the Ichihime's used to say that this is the strongest Ichihime proof,it is also claimed as a proof of their (Icihime) greatest fail by some Ichihiruki's.

here's what they used to say about this...

Some Ichihime's interpretations :

If she dies, there's no raising Ichigo from the dead. There's no raising anyone from the dead. Seriously though, Ichigo's regaining the ability to vocalize has come out as "I'll help you...". Who asked for help? Ishida? No. Ulquiorra? No. There's only one person, and that person is Orihime.SO IT WASNT NECESSARILY THAT HE HEARD ORIHIME NOW DID HE? BUT HE HEARD THAT SOMEONE NEEDED PROTECTION... who then??? who do ya think??? or would u like a list which includes everyone's name except for the redhead with a rack???who is that someone then? im just stating that why is it so hard to acknowledge it was orihime gave him a REASON to live- to protect her and their nakamas, true in hollow form he's still driven to protect that someone.Hollow-ichigo is the king and ichigo is the horse on that moment of role reversal. the hollow knows ichigo's relationships, because it is HIM. darker, violent and sadistic part of him (although tamed, will find any chance he gets to take over)

Some Ichiruki's interpretations :

IchiThing ran on Ichigo's raw instinct, if there is anyone in need of protection, he will protect because that is the man Ichigo is. He lives and fights because he wants to protect a mountain of people. Although, if Ichigo's so called 'purpose' for living was only for Orihime and that was really Ichigo's undying love, why would he stab his friend? IchiThing didn't recognize Ichigo's relationships, because if it did, it would have not stabbed Ishida. From what I see, IchiThing protected Orihime from everything because she called for his help, nothing more.

Though they have different interpretations as to why did Ichigo's hollow showed up (some Ichihime's used to think that it was because of Ichigo's strong will to protect Orihime, because he might have a romantic feelings for her.On the other hand,Ichiruki's used to think that the hollow is just acting through Ichigo's raw instinct.),all of them (even non shippers) believes that...

"Orihime's cry for HELP is the thing that triggers Ichigo's hollowfication"

However, the only problem I perceived with this kind of assumptions is that...it doesn't match with how most of them (probably, all of them actually) used to see Hollow Ichigo.

for example...

"Hollow-ichigo is the king and ichigo is the horse on that moment of role reversal. the hollow knows ichigo's relationships, because it is HIM. darker, violent and sadistic part of him (although tamed, will find any chance he gets to take over)"

Even if we say that he knew Ichigo's relationships with everyone since he's a part of him,it's still impossible to believe that he would respond to the person who called for help, since hollow Ichigo only loves to fight (this is what it means when someone says that he was a darker, violent, and sadistic part of him, right?),and devour Ichigo.Wanting to devour Ichigo's body/soul could only mean that he doesn't care about him, since in order to devour Ichigo's body/soul,he needed to 'cease' his existence before he could do so,just like how Ichigo wanted to 'cease' him,so he could take control. In short, why would he care for Ichigo's relationship with anyone,if he's only going to 'cease' him?

and for this one...

"IchiThing ran on Ichigo's raw instinct, if there is anyone in need of protection, he will protect because that is the man Ichigo is. IchiThing protected Orihime from everything because she called for his help, nothing more."

If Hollow Ichigo really is just acting through Ichigo's raw instinct that might be the reason why he came out to protect Orihime, then why does this thing happened in the first place?

Don't you think it's weird that he didn't take the consideration to at least move away from her,so she wouldn't get blown away because of his reiatsu's pressure? Not to mention,he didn't even take the effort to catch her at the very least. Is that how someone who came to protect the girl used to behave?I don't think so...

another thing,I couldn't help but to point out this thing as well...

"If she dies, there's no raising Ichigo from the dead. BUT HE HEARD THAT SOMEONE NEEDED PROTECTION... who then??? who do ya think??? or would u like a list which includes everyone's name except for the redhead with a rack???who is that someone then? im just stating that why is it so hard to acknowledge it was orihime gave him a REASON to live- to protect her and their nakamas, true in hollow form he's still driven to protect that someone."

Why does some people are making a big deal out of this?Who asked for help? This argument only sounds like,if it weren't Orihime,Ichigo would not respond to the person who cried for help. That would definitely go against the kind of character that Ichigo used to have in the story (a man who wanted to protect mountain loads of people).

though,I think this person gives me a better understanding to what they wanted to say...

"well for me is kind of hard to express with words why i like it, i just feel romantic chemestry between the two of them, how ichigo gets insanely mad when someone wants to hurt her. the way he promised that he was going to protect her, the way when a fight is about to start or when it ends he always takes his time to ask her if she is ok (even when there's other people around) he asks orihime if she is fine without asking anyone else, for me is very romantic that when he heard her crying he turns himself into a hollow (i know for u is something bad, but for me is insanely romantic, is like when someone messes with ur gf in real life and u get so mad that u don't mind acting violently towars the person is hurting ur girl, i know it's not something that someone should be proud of, but when u see someone u care about get hurt u then to get mad to the point u act in a violent way) and for me those are al ichigo showing some kind of interest for orihime beyond friendship (but i know for u is nothing, is only friendship, which is why i said is kind of pointless to say why i think i see it as romantic)"

Hmm,Ichigo getting insanely mad because someone wants to hurt Orihime? Please read here to see if it's true that Ichigo really is getting insanely mad when someone wants to hurt (only) Orihime.I have also seen someone mentioned that Ichigo is very responsive towards Orihime,so I have decided to write something about that in here

I just want to ask something about this getting insanely mad,and turning himself (Ichigo) into a hollow thingy.Have you ever seen Ichigo turning into a hollow whenever he was very angry? The answer to this question is the reason why I don't think that "Orihime's cry for help is the thing that triggered Ichigo's hollowfication"....why?please read here

Make sure that you have read my essay from the link that I have posted above. From there, you will see when are the times that hollow Ichigo usually shows up and why.

let's now move on to my interpretation of Ichigo's hollowfication....

point 1

There's no previous incident that Ichigo's hollow showed up when Ichigo is very angry.Ichigo gets easily angry,it is a part of his character, but never once that his hollow appeared in any of those times. In that case, saying that Ichigo turned into a hollow because of his anger towards someone who was threatening to hurt Orihime has been nulled.

point 2

Ichigo never wanted to let hollow Ichigo to take control of his body/soul.In that case,I would definitely agree that it might be something romantic if he does that just to protect Orihime, because it shows that he is willing to sacrifice his humanity just for her sake.Unfortunately,if Ichigo really does that kind of thing (turning himself into a hollow),then why is he acting like this after regaining his consciousness?

Ichigo said it clearly, that is not the way he wanted to win.In short, everything that happened is definitely not his intention. From Ichigo's own words,it is clear that he never intend to turn himself into a hollow, because he doesn't want to defeat his enemy in that kind of way.As a result,Ichigo turning himself into a hollow intentionally has been nulled as well.

point 3

If Ichigo's hollow really is just acting through Ichigo's raw instinct which is to protect, that's why he came out and responded to Orihime's cry for help...

...that would definitely go against what he said here...

Hollow Ichigo is a part of Zangetsu, right?I believe I don't have to elaborate that part.Zangetsu said those words when his fight with Ulquiora was already finished (it was during his training for the FGT),which means that his fight with Ulquiora (that some people are implying to be a fight to protect Orihime) is not an exemption. In short,he doesn't care whatever may happen to Orihime, the one who cried for help, the one that Ichigo wanted to protect (as what some people wants to put it).If hollow Ichigo doesn't care to anything that Ichigo wanted to protect (Orihime at that time),then why would he respond to the said person who was crying for help? This only means one thing, hollow Ichigo never showed up because Orihime cried for help, and that he wanted to protect her.

point 4

If Orihime's cry for help is not the thing that triggered or made hollow Ichigo to show up,then what is it?

...it was this...

Ichigo lying half dead on the ground,he was dying. What do you think will happen if Ichigo will die?...it was this...

Do you understand now why hollow Ichigo would care?Besides,he did warned Ichigo about the time that he would show up again.

remember this?...

He said it clearly, the time that he would show up again is when Ichigo died.He told Ichigo to take care, because that is the only thing that he wanted. He wanted Ichigo to stay alive, because his life depends on him.

A/N :

Based from my analysis's results,Orihime's cry for help is definitely not the thing that triggered,or is the reason why hollow Ichigo showed up.Hollow Ichigo showed up because Ichigo was dying. If Ichigo dies,he will die as well, and he would not let that happen. This also means that Orihime is definitely not the reason why Ichigo came back to life (as what some people used to put it).It was only Ichigo's hollow who saved him,not Orihime.

A Theory About Hollow Ichigo (white Zangetsu)

Among all the characters from the BLEACH manga,Ichigo's Hollow is the most interesting character to analyze (based from my own perspective of interesting ^.^'>). I've seen a lot of speculations regarding his true nature and personality, most especially, the way he behaved at the Dome.

Based from my observations in BLEACH fandom,it seems that most of the readers (shippers and non shippers) used to see Hollow Ichigo as nothing but a blood lust creature, who only loves fighting and is just waiting for a chance to devour Ichigo's body/soul.

Here's what some people used to say...

the hollow knows Ichigo's relationship, because it is HIM.darker, violent and sadistic part of him (although tamed, will find any chance he gets to take over).---IchiHime/IchiOri

IchiThing ran on Ichigo's raw instinct,if there is anyone in need of protection,he will protect because that is the man Ichigo is.

In order to find out if it's true that Hollow Ichigo is really just waiting for a chance to devour Ichigo's body/soul,let's go and see...

When does Hollow Ichigo usually shows up.

let's start with this scene...

Do you remember that particular scene? That is the first time that his hollow mask appeared (minus the time when he gained his shinigami power during his training with Urahara),it was after his fight with Renji in SS during his mission to rescue Rukia.Hanataro was so surprised to see that the wound on Ichigo's left torso that was supposed to be a fatal one, just appeared to be shallow.Why?...

because this thing saved him...

Hanataro said that he found that hollow mask inside Ichigo's robe.

Hanataro said that the hollow mask is the thing that blocked Renji's fatal attack.Did you know that this isn't the only time that this kind of incident occur?

This scene was after his fight with Kenpachi.Yoruichi also found a hollow mask with him..Just like Hanataro,Yoruichi have also commented that the hollow mask is the thing that saved Ichigo from Kepachi's attack. She thought that Ichigo brought it along with him,but look at Ichigo's reaction,he was surprised to see the hollow mask once again...why?

He told Yoruichi that is is also the thing that saved him from Renji's fatal blow earlier, but Hanataro asked him to throw it away, that's why,he threw it away in the sewers. In that case,it means that the hollow mask that Yoruichi found after his fight with Kenpachi,is a new one.

Come to think of it,did you noticed this scene during his fight with Kenpachi?

Zangetsu said that he was stopping Ichigo's wound from bleeding.Does this mean that he is the one who put the hollow's mask to protect Ichigo?

In the following chapters next to the SS Arc (Arrancar Arc/Hueco Mundo Arc),it is explained that Hollow Ichigo is a part of Zangetsu, and both of them are a part of Ichigo's power/himself.I believed that it already explained the point that the hollow mask is also Zangetsu, neh?

Now,let's move on to see Ichigo's fight with Byakuya...

During Ichigo's fight with Byakuya, the hollow literally took over.Unlike in his previous fights, only a mask appeared to protect him from the enemy's fatal blows. What is the difference between his fights with Renji and Kenpachi against Byakuya?

it was this...

As you can see,Ichigo can no longer fight against Byakuya.Compared to his fight with Renji and Kenpachi where Ichigo still have the strength to fight and win with a little help from Zangetsu (protecting him using the hollow's mask to block an attack),his fight with Byakuya is even more dangerous, that a simple blocking of an attack won't help him anymore.

note : Ichigo regained his control because of his strong determination to win in his own way.

This changes showed that the more Ichigo's life was being threatened, the more the hollow interfere. In other words, the hollow usually appear when Ichigo's life was being threatened, and the amount of his interference depends on how fatal it could be.

* * * * *

Now,in order to find out the reason why he was interfering Ichigo's fights, and if it's true that he was just a blood lust creature that only loves fighting, let's go and check...

Why does Hollow Ichigo shows up?

After showing you the times when Hollow Ichigo usually shows up/interfere is when Ichigo's life was being threatened, let's now find out the reason why he was doing that...

I believe that, that particular scene have already give us a hint as to why is he interfering Ichigo's fights, neh?Hollow Ichigo interfered his fight, because he didn't want Ichigo to die.He said it clearly,if Ichigo dies,he will suffer as well.In other words,he needs Ichigo to win and stay alive. The reason why he was scolding Ichigo here...

He's angry because Ichigo got scared of Byakuya's bankai and become unable to move.Because of Ichigo's fear after feeling the pressure of Byakuya's bankai,he became weak and unable to fight with Byakuya.

Did you know that it wasn't the only time that Hollow Ichigo have scolded/mock him for being weak?In fact,he does the same thing here...

That was the first time he saw Hollow Ichigo in his inner world,it was during his fight with Kenpachi. He's telling Ichigo that he have a very powerful sword,he shouldn't end up lying half dead on the ground and was there bleeding like crazy,he was so annoyed.

Notice that he was telling an important information to Ichigo (concerning his power, his sword,Zangetsu),every time he shows up in his inner world. Why is he doing that?If you look closely at what he was doing, obviously,he was teaching him how to control/use his power. In that case, don't you think,if he really wanted to devour Ichigo (like most of the readers usually think),he would actually do that?

No matter when he showed up to Ichigo in his inner world,he was giving him a hint,as to how he can use Zangetsu (and he's a part of Zangetsu). Be it during his fight with Kenpachi, even during his fight with Byakuya, and during his training with the Vizaards, all he does is to explain things about his power, about Zangetsu, and what are the things he needs to do/know about Zangetsu,to be able to use him.Based from that chain of events,it's clear that he wanted Ichigo to be able to use/control his power, because he wants him to win,so he could stay alive, because if Ichigo dies,he'll definitely die as well, since he's just a part of him (Ichigo),and he's the only reason why he exists. He even said that bluntly...

See the difference in his aura compared to when he was talking to Ichigo?Every time he was facing Ichigo,he seemed to like mocking him a lot,but here we can see his peaceful appearance. And what is he saying here? He's simply saying that he wants Ichigo to win, that's why however he was unwilling to help,he'll still help if needed. It seems like he was just impatient every time Ichigo was being scared, and weak (because his life depends on him).

The reason why he said this...

See that?....that's the reason why he was interfering Ichigo's fights.....if Ichigo was lacking his determination (to read more explanation about, how can his determination affect his chance of winning the fights, please read here ) because he got scared and starts losing his faith in his own powers,it would only lead to his death (their deaths)....He's telling Ichigo, that the reason why he didn't want him to become the King,is because he was weak, which simply means that as long as he was strong and determined to win,he won't complain being the horse,he just didn't want to be controlled by someone who is weaker than him.How could he entrust his life with someone who is weaker than him? He'll only end up dying helplessly.Seriously,Hollow Ichigo is teaching him how to control his power, how to use his sword, how to use Zangetsu.Isn't he a part of Zangetsu?Apparently,he was teaching the person that he wanted to devour,as to how he can control him? That's weird.

That's why after seeing a little bit of wanting to fight and win from Ichigo...

Hollow Ichigo told him that he'll let him to be the King, but if he showed a bit of laziness (lacking determination to win a fight),it is when he'll take over again,so,Ichigo have to do his best not to die. This clearly shows that Hollow Ichigo just really wanted Ichigo to stay alive.

emphasizing this part...

Hallow Ichigo wants to devour him (like most of the readers used to think)?then why does he wanted Ichigo to win?wouldn't it be more favorable for him,if he loses a fight? In that case,he can finally take over, but no....he needs him to live....that's why he said,no matter how unwilling he is to help,he's still going to help.

then why did he said this?...

From my own POV...and I mean, just from my own POV,I didn't mean that this is the exact thing, okay? ^m^

I think what he meant there, was this...

He means,it (Ichigo's power)will become his, because they will become one.

Ichigo is the source of their (Zangetsu and Hollow Ichigo) powers, and their lives, that's why they needed him to live.If you think about it,he really didn't mean to devour Ichigo,he just needed to take control in order to be able to protect Ichigo. This is why I believe,he's not just waiting for him to let his guard down,so he can take over. He's just telling Ichigo to take care of himself, and when he couldn't fight any longer, that is when he will show up,because he didn't want to die,and not because he wanted to devour Ichigo.Hollow Ichigo is just using Ichigo's fear of him to do his best.If he didn't really wanted his hollow to take over, then become stronger so he can take the throne of the King (domination to his soul). He's just trying to give Ichigo a reason to get stronger, win, and not to die.He was simply provoking Ichigo to defeat him (Hollow),and win the fight.Unfortunately, what happened is the opposite.Ichigo just became weaker, the reason why TZ was so sad and angry here...

Ichigo didn't understand his own power. He thought it will devour him,the reason why he kept on failing to protect his friends during the Arrancar's up until the HM.

See? Hollow Ichigo is not actually an enemy,or something that is actually bad for Ichigo. All he wants for him is to be stronger and take care of himself. This theory was proven to be true, after his blatant revelation here...

Well, his revelation definitely matched up with his previous actions, don't you think?Teaching Ichigo how to use his sword, his power, which is Zangetsu and him as a part of it,so Ichigo could win a fight.Like I was saying,if he really wanted to devour Ichigo,he will never teach Ichigo how to control Zangetsu (him as a part of it). And lastly, showing up every time he was about to be killed by the enemy. All those actions proves that he really is protecting Ichigo.

Before I leave this part of the topic,I wanted to address this part...

Someone asked me,Hollow Ichigo comes up when Ichigo's life was being threatened, but why he didn't show up after Ichigo was stabbed by Ulquiora (with his hand) in this particular scene?During his fight with Byakuya,he showed up when he couldn't move any longer.

After taking my time to think about it,I came to analyze the difference between the two situation. What is their difference?Look closely please?

That is what happened during his fight with Byakuya at the Sokyouku hill.In this fight,Hollow Ichigo showed up...when?

Right,Hollow Ichigo showed up before Byakuya managed to swung down his sword towards Ichigo,as his finishing blow.On the other hand, let's go back to what happened during his fight with Ulquiora.
What did Ulquiora do,after stabbing Ichigo with his bare hands?...

As you can see,Ulquiora didn't attack him any further after stabbing him.Ulquiora left right after he stabbed Ichigo,he even told him to leave if he can still  move. With Byakuya's fight,Byakuya is determined to finish him off,and wanted to give him a final attack, though he was already unable to move.Judging by the situation,it's clear that, with Byakuya's fight he was forced to continue fighting, but he couldn't move anymore,so...Hollow Ichigo who didn't want to die, shows up to continue the fight for him.At the HM,during his fight with Ulquiora,he didn't have to continue fighting, since Ulquiora left him right away. There's no need for him to continue fighting,so Hollow Ichigo didn't have to show up.

Besides...

Hollow Ichigo told him that he'll let him to be the King, but if he showed a bit of laziness (lacking determination to win a fight),it is when he'll take over again,so,Ichigo have to do his best not to die.

In their first match at the HM,Ichigo wasn't dying already,he's just fainting and Ulquiora isn't interested in finishing him off at that moment. At the Dome,Ichigo was already dying, the time that Hollow Ichigo told him that he will take over,so,he did.

for the final part of this essay...

* * * * *

How does Hollow Ichigo takes over?

That was the first time Hollow Ichigo told him how things are turning the way they does.Let's analyze his words here...

Hollow Ichigo : As far as a body containing more than one inhabitant is concerned, when master and the servant decide to switch, naturally, the body's appearance changes as well...And just as bodies are wrapped in meat during life, upon death,we will be reduced to nothing but bone. It's the same truths.

The way I interpreted his words, this explains that, when Ichigo uses the Hollow's mask,he's drawing powers from Zangetsu (hollow's side),it's like him who was deciding to let him (hollow) take control, but not completely, that's why he was still in his shinigami form, only with a mask of a hollow. The more the hollow is taking control, the more his mask's appearance is changing as well. That is the reason why his mask,or rather should I say,his hollow form kept on changing, because Hollow Ichigo's dominance is becoming stronger. The more Ichigo draws (allow) powers from hollow Ichigo, the more he took control of his powers. It was also the same as,the more Ichigo was injured, the more he was able to control his soul. That means,if Ichigo is getting weaker (like a corpse that rot,and was reducing into nothing but bone),the dominance is being transferred to Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu, which was the inner part of him, like what the bones are.As Ichigo was getting weaker, like a body that was wrapped in meat and slowly reducing into bone,Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu (as one),is becoming visible, like they are gaining the dominance. As a result,Hollow Ichigo or Zangetsu to be exact, becomes able to take the control of his powers, and soul. When Ichigo gets weaker at the Dome,Hollow Ichigo gained the complete dominance to his soul, that's why his appearance is more of a hollow than a shinigami. After Ichigo finally understands everything about Zangetsu,he became able to use their powers. As a result, when Ichigo and Zangetsu becomes one, their appearance changes as well according to the amount of their dominance.

A/N :

So,that's why things happened the way they are (according to my analysis)...Hollow Ichigo showing up,because Ichigo is getting weaker (because of his fear from his own power),and become unable to defeat his enemies at the Arrancar and the HM arc, which made him unable to protect his nakamas.Ichigo kept on shoving off Hollow Ichigo, because he doesn't understand why is he interfering his fights,he thought that he was hindering his desire to protect his nakamas, and that he was something that will bring harm to him and the people that was dear to him.(*ゝ_●・)σ
